Comic-Con 2010 - Day Three

See where BlipNetwork reporters are going to be!

Wow, I can't believe San Diego Comic-Con will be all over tomorrow. But first, we get to one of our busiest days, which doesn't feel like it, because I won't even be at the convention myself until around lunchtime when I hobnob with the voice and creative talent behind the recently revived show "Futurama." I'm really looking forward to that!

But that doesn't mean our other reporters aren't already out and about today, looking for great stories to share with you at Airlock Alpha, Inside Blip and Rabid Doll.

Tiffany Vogt starts things off at 10 a.m. with a screening of NBC's "Chuck." Looks like some great new changes are coming to the show, and there will be some things to share with Airlock Alpha readers at this panel. At the same time, I had a chance to interview Zachary Levi last night at an NBC party thrown at the Omni Hotel, so hopefully I'll have a chance to upload video of that at some point this weekend or early next week.

Then at 11 a.m., new Inside Blip reporter Debby Andrede will learn everything there is to learn about what's to come on the TNT series "Leverage." It looks like the only acting talent that will be there is Timothy Hutton, but the panel also will feature executive producers John Rogers and Chris Downey.

Terilynn Shull, who I finally got to meet in person at Rod Roddenberry's party last night, will be standing in line for Hall H -- the toughest hall to get into -- for looks at both "Green Lantern" and "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows." That all starts at 11:45 a.m.

Then it's time to head back to Syfy with "Sanctuary." Andrede will visit the panel hosted by "Destination Truth's" Joshua Gates at 1 p.m. local time, which includes Amanda Tapping, Robin Dunne, and executive producers Martin Wood and Damian Kindler. Coverage of that can be found later on at Rabid Doll.

Bryant will jump into the action at 1:30 p.m. for some details on the horror production "Let Me In" for Rabid Doll (hopefully, they will let him in to see what this is all about, and report on it at our horror sister site).

At 2, I'll be attending more press conferences, mostly for Syfy programs, and hopefully getting some great stuff on video for "Sanctuary," "Warehouse 13" and "Eureka."

Tiffany will get a first look at what's to come on ABC's "V" with a panel beginning at 2:30 p.m. local time. There will be an episode screening as well as appearances by Elizabeth Mitchell, Morris Chestnut, Joel Gretsch, Logan Huffman, Laura Vandervoot, Charles Mesure, Morena Baccarin and Scott Wolf. Wow, ABC is really going all out to try and get "V" on its feet for a second season, and that's not a bad start at all.

At 3 p.m., I'm going to make my dad jealous by attending the Elvira press conference ... that is if I get there in time. I was hoping to be at this, but my Syfy press gathering stuff is off-site, and leading right into the same time, so I might not be able to be there. I think it would be cool if I can, however.

Also at 3, Diana Keng learns all about NBC's "Community" for NBC. I had a chance to talk to some of the actors from the show at NBC's party last night (which also featured a surprise appearance by Chevy Chase, who I shook hands with). We'll have video of some of those interviews (but not with Chase, sadly) on Inside Blip in the days to come. But this panel will feature Joel McHale, Chase, Daniel Glover, Alison Brie, and a bunch of executive producers.

Debby will continue things at 3:15 p.m. local time with a look at NBC's "No Ordinary Family" for Airlock Alpha. It includes a screening, and a quick panel with stars Michael Chiklis, Julie Benz and the executive producers. Just as the name implies, Chiklis has a family where superpowers change them all overnight.

Also at 3:15, it's time for "Fringe." Fox is airing the next episode at the panel in Ballroom 20, and Terilynn will be there. The panel also includes Anna Torv, Joshua Jackson, John Noble and Jasika Nicole.

By the way, I wanted to thank all of our reporters on-site for doing such great work, and for all being here at Comic-Con. Otherwise, there's no way we could attend all this mid-afternoon stuff. And I'm saying that because we have Tiffany Vogt in Room 6BCF for a look at "Warehouse 13" and "Eureka." That is a smaller room, and with two popular shows from Syfy, I think it will be completely packed. So if you want to sit at the 3:30 p.m. panel, you better get there real early.

Scheduled to be at that panel are Eddie McClintock, Joanne Kelly, Saul Rubinek, Allison Scagliotti and showrunner Jack Kenny. For "Eureka," it's Colin Ferguson, Salli Richardson-Whitfield, Neil Grayston, James Callis, and executive producers Jaime Paglia and Bruce Miller.

That is a 90-minute panel, so make sure you schedule accordingly!

Bryant will continue his Rabid Doll coverage with "Resident Evil: Afterlife" at 4 p.m. in Hall H, so you know he'll be spending some time in line for that one.

And since it seems horror is at 4 at Comic-Con today, Diana will get to see what's going to happen on The CW's "Vampire Diaries" for that show's second season at 4:15 in Ballroom 20. That panel will include Nina Dobrev, Paul Wesley, Ian Somerhalder, Michael Trevino and Matt Davis.

At 5:15, I'll continue my behind-the-scenes press coverage of "Warehouse 13" and "Eureka," while at the same time, Tiffany will represent Inside Blip at the screening of the new show "Nikita" starring Maggie Q.

At 6 p.m., just off of attending a great party hosted by Rod Roddenberry last night with myself, Bryant, and some cool celebrities like Daniel Dae Kim and Chase Masterson, Terilynn will see what's happening at Roddenberry Productions with a panel including Rod himself, Trevor Roth and Tory Mell. We likely will be told (as has become an annual tradition) that the documentary "Trek Nation" is almost ready to go. Just kidding, Rod!

At 6:15, Tiffany will get to see what's next on Fox's "Human Target" for Inside Blip, in a show that stars Mark Valley, Chi McBride and Jackie Earle Haley.

At 7 p.m., Bryant plans to be at a screening for "The Last Exorcism" while I will be making my way to the Hotel Solamar for the annual red carpet of the Entertainment Weekly/Syfy party. I was just sent a list of the celebs walking the red carpet, and it's huge! So I have extra memory and battery power on my camera, all in anticipation!

Bryant and I will be sporting another version of the new Airlock Alpha shirts during the day (i.e. a different color), and a lot of people have expressed how much they love these shirts. We likely will start offering a version for sale in the near future.

And tonight is the night! Airlock Alpha is hosting a "Con-ival" Saturday beginning at 8 p.m. local time at the Grand Lobby Bar at the Manchester Grand Hyatt, located at One Market Street right next to the San Diego Convention Center. The fun will go on until about midnight with some great special guests (including me!), and readers like you! It's free (although you have to get your own drinks).

For more information on Con-ival, click here, or e-mail Terilynn Shull at terilynn@dragonox.com to RSVP or get more details.

Make sure you keep coming back to all the BlipNetwork sites all weekend for the latest Comic-Con coverage, and follow all the writers on Twitter @ComicConAA.
