Chris Vance Joins Showtime's 'Dexter'
Actor will star in at least three episodes in Season 5
Chris Vance has joined the cast of Showtime's "Dexter" for a multi-episode arc during Season 5.
Set to appear in at least three episodes, Vance ("Prison Break," "Mental") will play Cole, an articulate and detail-oriented personal assistant to a famous businessman, according to EW.com.
Vance recently held a reoccurring role in the third season of USA's "Burn Notice" as Mason Gilroy, an antagonist to Michael Westen, played by Jeffrey Donovan.
In addition to Vance, "Dexter" will also feature guest roles this season for Peter Weller ("RoboCop"), Julia Stiles ("The Bourne Ultimatum"), Johnny Lee Miller ("Eli Stone"), April Lee Hernandez ("ER"), Shawn Hatosy ("Southland") and Maria Doyle Kennedy ("The Tudors").
The series follows a serial killer who holds a job as a Miami police forensics specialist while quenching his thirst for the kill by hunting criminals who he believes have escaped justice.
In Season 5 Dexter is forced to deal with things he never felt before: guilt, sorrow, self-forgiveness. And there is blowback from his reckless behavior.
"Dexter" returns to Showtime Sept. 26 at 9 p.m. ET. It stars Michael C. Hall, Julie Benz, Jennifer Carpenter, Lauren Vélez, James Remar, David Zayas.
