ABC Unleashes '666 Park Ave' Sept. 30
'Fringe' writer David Wilcox spearheads new supernatural series
ABC's supernatural drama "666 Park Ave" will premiere Sept. 30 following the network's dramas "Once Upon a Time" and "Revenge."
Spearheaded by Warner Bros. TV and Alloy Entertainment, the series is from "Fringe" writer David Wilcox and is based on Gabriella Pierce's book series, which centers on a historic New York City apartment building whose new managers discover their tenants are witches.
Leslie Morgenstein ("Gossip Girl") and Gina Girolamo ("The Secret Circle") are executive producing the series along with Wilcox, who has held co-executive producer roles on Fox's "Fringe," ABC’s "Life On Mars" and NBC’s "Law & Order."
Wilcox scripted the pilot.
Pierce's book was her first release and hit stores in February 2011 from William Morrow Paperbacks.
In August 2011, Pierce continued the "666 Park Ave" tale with "The Dark Glamour," a novel shedding more light on the covens, curses and darkness lurking behind the glitter of New York high society.
"666 Park Ave" stars Vanessa Williams ("Shaft," "Eraser"), Terry O’Quinn ("Lost"), Rachael Taylor ("Transformers"), Dave Annable ("Brothers & Sisters").
