'Haven' Set For Season 3 Debut
Syfy's hit supernatural drama premieres Sept 21 at 10 p.m.
Syfy’s hit drama "Haven" returns Sept 21 at 10 p.m. for its third season.
Picking up immediately following the Season 2 finale, "Haven's" premiere finds Audrey (Emily Rose) kidnapped, Nathan (Lucas Bryant) warned against pursuing a romantic relationship with her, and Duke (Eric Balfour) seemingly engaged in a fight to the death with Nathan after he discovers his family lineage is to kill Haven citizens with supernatural gifts.
Loosely based on the novella "The Colorado Kid" by Stephen King, the series follows a former FBI agent, Audrey Parker, who becomes a cop in a mysterious small town in Maine where secrets and supernatural abilities run rampant.
"Haven" averaged 2.55 million total viewers in its second season, attracting 995,000 adults in the 18-49 demographic; it rose 4 percent among total viewers and 5 percent among adults 18-49 compared to Season 1.
During Season 3 the series will feature a number of guest stars, including Iain Glen ("Game of Thrones," "Downton Abbey"), Bree Williamson ("Gossip Girl," "One Life to Live"), Laura Vandervoort ("Smallville," "White Collar"), WWE's superstar Edge, Dorian Missick ("Southland," "The Cape"), Kate Kelton ("Harold and Kumar," "American Psycho 2"), Nolan North ("Pretty Little Liars") and Claudia Black ("Farscape").
"Haven" is executive produced by John Morayniss ("The Firm," "Hell on Wheels") and David MacLeod ("Legends of the Fall," "The Ray Bradbury Theater"), along with Lloyd Segan, Shawn Piller, Scott Shepherd ("Stephen King’s The Dead Zone," "Greek") and Matt McGuinness ("Journeyman," "Dark Blue") as well as Sam Ernst and Jim Dunn ("Stephen King’s The Dead Zone"), who also developed the series.
